Aid Campaign 1995
Come Together People - Hand in Hand Aid Campaign of 1995 donated School stationary to Kaunda Square Primary School located in Lusaka Zambia.
This project was directed by Ken Simuyemba donation of Books, chairs, pens,pencils and other school items from Norway to aid Kaunda Square Primary School. Over 2000 children benefited from this effort.
This effort also brought together the Norwegian Ministry of Education, the Mayor of Oslo Norway the Ministry of education of Zambia and the Ministry of Finance in Zambia.
These institutions played key roles towards this effort. The Mayor of Oslo Norway Ms Ann Marit Sæbønes made sure that we collected all the equipment we needed for the School in Zambia, while the Norwegian Ministry of education played a practical role by facilitating the items we needed. The Zambia Ministry of education and Ministry of Finance hosted us and facilitated all charitable Zambia legal status to the project.
